First-Generation Engineer Award

$3,000Deadline: June 1, 2026

About This Scholarship

The First-Generation Engineer Award celebrates students who are the first in their families to pursue an engineering degree. We understand the unique challenges first-generation college students face and designed this award to provide both financial support and professional guidance.

This $3,000 award covers tuition and related educational expenses. Recipients also receive a year-long mentorship with a practicing engineer who was also a first-generation college student, creating a powerful connection between shared experiences and professional growth.

The award is open to students in all engineering disciplines within the AEC industry, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineering. We believe that strong talent leads to better engineering solutions.
