About This Scholarship
The Certification Exam Scholarship helps working AEC professionals cover the costs of obtaining industry certifications, including PE, SE, PMP, LEED, and other recognized credentials. Professional certifications are essential for career advancement but can be financially burdensome.
This scholarship covers exam registration fees, study materials, and prep course costs up to $1,500. It's available to AEC Unites members who are working professionals seeking to advance their careers through certification.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. We review applications monthly and aim to support as many professionals as possible in achieving their certification goals.
Eligibility Requirements
- Current AEC Unites member (individual, company, or student membership)
- Working professional in the AEC industry for at least one year
- Seeking a recognized industry certification (PE, SE, PMP, LEED, CCM, DBIA, etc.)
- Have not previously received this scholarship for the same certification
- Demonstrate financial need or employer does not cover certification costs
Application Process
- 1Log in to your AEC Unites member account
- 2Complete the Certification Exam Scholarship application
- 3Specify which certification you are pursuing and your target exam date
- 4Provide proof of employment in the AEC industry
- 5Submit receipts or cost estimates for exam fees and study materials
- 6Decisions are communicated within 30 days of application
