AEC Unites Foundation Scholarship
About This Scholarship
The AEC Unites Foundation Scholarship is our flagship award, designed to support students pursuing accredited degree programs in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction. Awards range from $5,000 to $10,000 based on academic merit, financial need, and demonstrated commitment to the AEC industry.
Since its inception, this scholarship has supported over 200 students across the country, many of whom have gone on to become leaders at top AEC firms. Recipients also gain access to AEC Unites' professional network, mentorship programs, and exclusive industry events.
The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided recipients maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and remain active members of AEC Unites. Preference is given to first-generation college students and those demonstrating strong potential in the AEC industry.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited AEC degree program
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Must be a member of AEC Unites (student membership is free)
- Demonstrate commitment to a career in the AEC industry
- Demonstrate financial need through FAFSA or equivalent documentation
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Application Process
- 1Create a free AEC Unites student account and complete your profile
- 2Submit the online scholarship application with your personal statement (500-750 words)
- 3Upload your unofficial transcript and one letter of recommendation
- 4Complete the financial need questionnaire
- 5Applications are reviewed by the scholarship committee in May
- 6Award recipients are notified by June 15
